The extension is the product. The editable session stays only in the loaded workspace. Closing or reloading always discards it; copy or download the built Markdown first if you need to keep the output.
Workflow
Add selectable-text PDF, DOCX, Markdown, or plain text. A short first-run guide explains the shared workspace and remains available through Help. On a source tab, choose Capture page or Capture selection; Context Pack opens or focuses the current workspace and stages the result for review. Wait until the current capture, review, or conversion is finished before invoking it from another tab; the next capture then returns to that same pack.
Inspect converted Markdown, source metadata, and warnings. Review captured pages and selections before adding them, then build the pack to see local token estimates before export.
Open current pack opens a new empty workspace when none is loaded or returns to the current workspace, without capturing. Reorder, remove, include, or exclude sources, or use New pack to clear the session, with confirmation when it contains work.
Edit the final Markdown, then copy it or download context-pack.md only when you choose.

Supported documents and captured text are processed inside the packaged extension.
Chrome grants temporary activeTab access when you invoke the extension. Context Pack reads page content only after you choose page or selection capture.
Working documents and captured content are not written to browser storage. Closing or reloading always discards the editable session. Only the non-content first-run-guide preference persists; copying or downloading keeps only the exported Markdown, not the source list or session.
PDF, DOCX, capture, Markdown, and token-estimation code ships with the extension.
