Release notes
Context Pack 1.3.1 — Released
A maintenance update focused on preserving document meaning before you share your Markdown. The capture workflow and permissions are unchanged.
What changed
- Safer document tables. Ambiguous merged or uneven DOCX rows use explicit row/cell text with a warning instead of a guessed Markdown grid. Ordinary rectangular tables and explicit empty cells keep their structure.
- Nested lists retain their hierarchy. DOCX list levels remain readable instead of being flattened into one list.
- Paragraph line breaks are preserved. Ordinary document breaks remain breaks in Markdown and Preview.
- Complete headings. A heading split across document lines becomes one complete heading, with a warning that the line breaks were flattened. Its full title remains in Sections, Preview and exported Markdown, including literal trailing hash characters.
- Honest fallbacks for richer cells. Document cells containing lists, headings or code use explicit row/cell text when a Markdown grid would obscure their structure.
The same local workflow
Import a document, review its warnings and Markdown, then build your pack. Preview is read-only; Copy Markdown and Download .md use the editable Markdown. This update adds no permissions, account, tracking or background capture. The workspace still clears when closed or reloaded, so export first.
Row/cell fallback preserves source order; it does not promise reconstructed visual columns. Check the result against your document before sharing.
